MARK PINO:
Mark Pino began playing drums in the mid 1980’s as a pre-teen. First opportunities for playing were presented within a school system.
Mr. Pino began playing in bands as a teenager in the later 1980’s.
He began playing in public (playing out), in the early 1990’s, in the San Francisco Bay Area.
During the time frame of the early 1990’s until 2010, Mr. Pino focused primarily on single projects (bands). Within this scope, he played in several different States within the United States.
In the post 2010 time frame, Mr. Pino has focused on working within diverse projects (bands, one-off performances, happenings, etc) in order to effect deeper understanding and comprehension of music and its attendant complexities, both physical and philosophical.
Mark Pino is grateful to all musicians, poets, and artists with whom he has shared physical and mental spaces.
